About the Naturalist Guides
The Galapagos National Park handles strict controls on tourist access that are maintained in an effort to protect the natural habitats and all visitors must be accompanied by a Naturalist Guide.
The guides work as the first line of defense protecting the park’s natural resources through education. They accompany visitors ashore interpreting the natural wonders of the islands while enforcing the park rules and regulations.
The Naturalists Guides chosen to led our tours are carefully selected, however, they are not members of the Galapagos Habitat Galapagos Lodges team, they work on a freelance basis.
